Oral Health America Releases Report on How States Fare with the Oral Health of Older Adults

On October 8, 2013 Oral Health America (OHA) released A State of Decay, Vol. II.  This report is a state-by-state analysis of the oral health of older adults.  OHA used five variables to assess the status of older adults’ oral health in each state: community water fluoridation, edentulism, adult Medicaid benefits, inclusion of older adult strategies in state oral health plans, and dental health professional shortage areas.
